A case study: LED Replacement of Sports Field Lighting

There are different lighting requirements for the football field:   For training operation and point games at county level meet 75 lx illuminance (Class III). 200 lx are required for playing in district and national league (class II), for association and league games it must be much brighter with 500 lx (class I). Below is one of our customer ’ s local football match  lighting project,in class II, 200 lx.  It squares with 8  masts, each  masts with three   LED sports light  with a power consumption of 1000 W. 3D false color view 24  x 1000W LED sports light : Result: Mean illuminance Em 270 lx Minimum illuminance Emin 180 lx Maximum illuminance Emax 382 lx Uniformity Uo Emin / Em 0. 67 Unevenness Ud Emin / Emax 0.4 7 overall performance 24.1 kW If use metal halide light,here will need at least 24pcs 2000W.
